If an LNG ship needs to vacate the terminal in the middle of the loading/discharging operation for any safety reason (Bad weather, fire...), the Ship Management Team (SMT) must consider the following 👇

Membrane type

If the cargo tanks are partially filled, a cargo transfer from tank to tank must be carried out either at berth (if time allows) or at anchorage to keep the liquid level outside the Sloshing effect limits 🚨

Moss type

If the liquid level is below the Equator ⭕, resume spraying when loading resumed until the equator temperature reaches -124 °C ❄.
