After the tanks have been warmed up, the LNG Vapor is displaced with Inert Gas 💭. Inert gas from Inert Gas Generator IGG is introduced to the tanks from the ⬇ bottom of the loading lines. The displaced LNG vapor is vented from the top ⬆ of the tank via the forward mast riser, or ashore if the ship is in port.
