The Höegh Gandria vessel has reached Seatrium’s shipyard in Singapore, where its conversion 🏗 from an LNG carrier to an FSRU has begun, building on what Höegh Evi describes as its proven track record of fast FSRU project execution 🚢.

This includes engineering, installation of regasification systems, overall systems integration, commissioning, and a cosmetic refresh 🏭. Upon completion in the fourth quarter, the FSRU will be ready to deliver up to 1,000 million standard cubic feet (mmscf) 💭 per day in regasification capacity.

Egypt’s first FSRU, Hoegh Galleon, deployed in July 2024, is set to be replaced by Höegh Gandria once Seatrium is done with the conversion works, enabling the unit to work at the country’s Sumed Port 📍 for a decade, starting in Q4 2026.
