What are the different equipments installed inside LNG ship cargo tanks ❓

Each LNG cargo tank contains 👇

- Two 2️⃣ main cargo pumps for discharging.

- One filling line

- Emergency cargo pump column (Membrane type only).

- One 1️⃣ Spray/Stripping pump which is used for :

  • Cooling down cargo tanks/ship's lines/shore arms.

  • Creating forced boil off.

  • Gassing up

  • Cooling down vapour gas to Diesel Engines (Before LDC) for DFDE ships
